This position accurately analyzes and reports all tests ordered by the Medical Staff in a timely manner and according to laboratory procedures and regulatory guidelines to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. ## Job Requirements In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: **Required Education and Experience:** - Associate’s Degree in a biological or chemical science as defined by CLIA **OR** - High school diploma/GED and completed an official military medical laboratory course and held the military enlisted occupational speciality of Medical Laboratory Specialist (Lab Technician) **Certification Preferred:** - MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred **Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training:** - Must be appropriately trained in clinical laboratory science as judged by the Director of the Clinical Laboratory Physical, Exertion, and Sensory - Medium ## Where You’ll Work St. Thomas More Hospital, a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, is the cornerstone of health care services for Fremont County and surrounding southern Colorado communities.
