## Description MLT PRN (as needed) ## Requirements **Previous Experience Required** Preferred but not required-5 years experience as an MLT **Specialized or Technical Education Required** Must have an associates degree from an approved Medical Laboratory training program OR High School diploma or equivalent w/5 years of experience. Must have and maintain a current Louisiana license as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist through the LA State Board of Medical Examiners. Must be willing, trained, competent, and working on a routine basis in all areas of the laboratory. **Manual or Physical Skill Required** Proper body mechanics and lifting techniques. Sufficient dexterity to perform laboratory and other patient care skills. Must have good visual acuity to perform inventory and administrative skills.
