ABOUT THE ROLE The Medical Documentation Specialist (MDS) is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and comprehensive clinical documentation that supports healthcare professionals in providing high-quality patient care. Working as an extension of healthcare professionals, the MDS documents patient encounters within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with organizational quality standards, provider preferences, and applicable healthcare regulations. Medical Documentation Specialists leverage Commure's Ambient AI technology and documentation workflows to reduce providers' administrative burden, enabling providers to spend more time focusing on patient care. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for recent graduates and early-career professionals.
