Belle City Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced and collaborative Medical Director Veterinarian to lead our AAHA-accredited small animal practice in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. About Our Practice Belle City Veterinary Hospital is a full-service, AAHA-accredited companion animal hospital committed to delivering exceptional medical, surgical, and dental care. What You'll Do Lead and mentor a team of veterinarians and support staff Practice high-quality small animal medicine and surgery Promote medical excellence and maintain AAHA standards of care Partner with hospital leadership to support hospital growth and strategic initiatives Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing culture Support the professional development of associate veterinarians Build lasting relationships with clients through exceptional communication and patient care Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) from an accredited veterinary school Active (or eligible) Wisconsin veterinary license Previous leadership or mentorship experience preferred Strong surgical and medical skills with an interest in continuing to grow surgical services Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities Collaborative leadership style with a growth mindset Passion for progressive, evidence-based medicine and team development Core Competencies Veterinary Leadership Medical Director Small Animal Medicine Preventive Care & Wellness Soft Tissue Surgery Veterinary Dentistry Internal Medicine Diagnostic Interpretation & Case Management Medical Quality & Standards of Care Client Communication & Education Team Development & Mentorship Practice Growth Clinical Decision-Making Collaboration What We Offer Up to $150,000 Base Salary (varies based on qualifications/experience) Quarterly production bonus with no negative accrual.
