As a Medical Assistant, you'll play an essential role in creating an outstanding patient experience while supporting our physicians and clinical team in delivering high-quality women's healthcare. ## Responsibilities ## What You'll Do - Welcome patients with professionalism, compassion, and exceptional customer service. - Obtain patient health histories and accurately document information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). - Prepare exam rooms to ensure they are clean, organized, and ready for patient visits. - Perform vital signs and preliminary clinical assessments. - Prepare patients and equipment for examinations, procedures, and treatments. - Administer injections and perform phlebotomy as needed. - Accurately document patient visits, medications, laboratory requests, diagnostic testing, and patient education. - Provide medical scribe support when needed. - Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during examinations and procedures. - Collaborate with teammates to ensure efficient clinic flow and an exceptional patient experience. - Help foster a positive, supportive, and team-oriented culture focused on outstanding patient care. ## Qualifications ## What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is compassionate, dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about women's health. - Experience working in a medical office and/or graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required. - Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and medical terminology is required. - Athena experience helpful. - One or more years of experience in a medical office is preferred. - Previous OB/GYN experience is strongly preferred. - Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification is preferred. - Bachelor's degree is preferred. - Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environment. - A genuine commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. ## Why You'll Love Working Here We believe that when we take care of our team, they're empowered to provide exceptional care to our patients.
