Medical Assistant (Part-time)

Our environment is filled with hard-working, dynamic individuals who come together to ensure the success of our partner dermatologists. ## Job Description - Accompany patients into exam rooms to obtain medical history, including allergies, medications and history of chronic illness. - Efficiently use EMR for documentation. - Call patients with lab results - Return patient calls to answer an array of questions, after guidance from provider. - Clean and stock rooms - Sterilize instruments and wash/fold patient gowns - Assist providers during procedures and minor surgeries. ## Qualifications - Ability to work with multiple providers and other medical staff - Must provide exceptional patient care - Ability to multi task and perform a variety of MA skills. - Reliable and punctual **Job Type:** - Full-time **Experience:** - Experience in Dermatology preferred, 1+ years in prior medical assisting role. **Education:** - High School Diploma **Certifications/Licenses:** Medical Assistant certificate preferred but not required. ## Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
