Medical Assistant- Part-time

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is driven, dedicated, eager to learn, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment. **Position Summary:** The Medical Assistant will support providers with both clinical and administrative duties while helping ensure a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, professional, dependable, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team. Dermatology experience is highly preferred, but we are open to training the right candidate with a strong work ethic and willingness to grow. ## Job Description - Room patients and prepare them for examination - Obtain and document patient histories, vital signs, and chief complaints - Assist physicians and providers with examinations and procedures - Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies - Perform clinical tasks such as injections, wound care, suture removal, and specimen handling (as permitted by role/training) - Assist with biopsies, surgeries, and dermatologic procedures - Provide patient education and relay provider instructions - Process prescriptions, prior authorizations, and refill requests - Support scheduling, charting, and electronic medical records documentation - Maintain cleanliness and proper stocking of exam rooms - Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and team members **Job Type:** Part-time: Tuesday-Thursday, 7:45am-4:45pm ## Qualifications - Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred) - High school diploma or equivalent (Medical Assistant certification preferred) - Minimum 1 year of medical office or clinical experience preferred - Dermatology experience highly preferred - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn **We are looking for someone who is:** - Driven and proactive - Dedicated and dependable - Eager to learn and grow within dermatology - Team-oriented and adaptable - Compassionate and patient-focused - Professional in both appearance and communication ## Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
