## Company Description Our busy dermatology practice is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant with EMR experience! We are looking for a friendly, motivated team player who is willing and able to learn and be a member of an awesome team. We welcome candidates taking a gap year prior to PA school. ## Job Description - Room Patients, triage, obtain/document medical history and chief complaint in EMR - Document Allergies and Medications and Obtain Informed consent from patients - Scribe and assist provider during exams and procedures - Assist skin cancer surgeries, medical procedures and cosmetic procedures - Prescription management - Patient call backs with pathology results/Schedule excisions - Prior Authorizations and Biologics - Clean and restock exam rooms/assist with inventory - Sterilize Instruments - Assist with any administrative duties such as answering the phone, patient questions and scheduling ## Qualifications - 1+ year(s) of Medical Assistant experience (Required) - EMR experience (Required) - Dermatology experience (Preferred) - Front desk experience (Preferred) - Looking for future PA / Medical student candidates needing clinical hours for a gap year or more. **Job Type:** - Full-time, Monday- Friday - Opportunity to assist Mohs surgeon **Experience:** - 1 Year Medical Assistant - Dermatology experience preferred **Education:** - High School Diploma **Certifications/Licenses:** - Medical Assistant Certification ## Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
