We prepare students for successful careers through hands-on skills and learning opportunities. ## What You'll Do As a Full-Time Medical Assistant Instructor, you'll create engaging learning experiences that prepare students for successful careers in healthcare. Key responsibilities include: - Planning, developing, and delivering organized learning opportunities aligned with approved curriculum. - Providing hands-on instruction in clinical procedures, administrative medical assisting, patient care, laboratory skills, and industry best practices. - Creating a safe, engaging, and student-centered learning environment. - Assessing student learning through practical evaluations, assignments, and examinations. - Monitoring student attendance, progress, and achievement. - Maintaining accurate student records and supporting academic advising efforts. - Collaborating with faculty and staff to promote student success and program excellence. - Implementing innovative teaching strategies that enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. - Modeling professionalism, ethical conduct, and exceptional patient care standards. - Building and maintaining relationships with healthcare partners to ensure curriculum remains current and aligned with workforce needs. - Ensuring the safe use of instructional facilities, equipment, and clinical resources. - Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and program development efforts. ## What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is a knowledgeable healthcare professional who is passionate about education, patient care, and student success. ### Preferred Qualifications - Experience as a Medical Assistant or healthcare professional in a clinical setting. - Current certification, licensure, or professional credentials appropriate to the position. - Strong knowledge of clinical procedures, medical office practices, patient care, safety protocols, and healthcare industry standards. - Previous teaching, training, mentoring, or supervisory experience is preferred. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to effectively teach both technical concepts and hands-on clinical skills. - Strong organizational and classroom management abilities. - Commitment to maintaining a professional, positive, and student-focused learning environment. - Ability to build relationships with students, faculty, staff, and healthcare industry partners. - Basic computer proficiency and experience with standard office software applications. ## Benefits Bridgerland Technical College offers a comprehensive benefits package, including: - Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance - 401(k) Retirement Plan - Life Insurance - Health Savings Account (HSA) - Paid Time Off - Professional Development Opportunities ## Why Join Us?
