**Medical Assistant II - Family Medicine - Spanish Required** Granger Medical Clinic is seeking a **full-time bilingual Medical Assistant II** to join our West Valley/Fairbourne Family Medicine Clinic. This is an immediate opening for a motivated and patient-focused individual. In this role, you will work closely with physicians and clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include telephone triage, insurance authorizations, recording vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, etc.), administering immunizations, performing phlebotomy, maintaining exam rooms, and managing documentation and filing. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate courteously and effectively with patients - Typing/keyboarding proficiency of at least 40 WPM - Basic arithmetic, computer, and analytical skills - Dependable, flexible, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Team-oriented with a willingness to assist others as needed - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English - Ability to communicate professionally with physicians, staff, and patients - **Must be bilingual in Spanish.** **Essential Functions and Duties:** - Answer phones, schedule appointments, and greet patients - Collect and maintain accurate patient demographic information - Obtain prior authorizations for medications and procedures - Prepare patients for examinations and provide providers with relevant information (lab results, vitals, medications, allergies) - Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointments and care needs - Perform additional duties as assigned **Education and Experience:** - High school diploma or GED - **Medical Assistant certification preferred** **Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:** - Standing and walking for extended periods, Lifting up to 50lbs. - Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and other office equipment. - Inside, climate-controlled working conditions. **Granger Medical Clinic offers competitive wages, potential for quarterly bonuses, and excellent benefits.
