Medical Assistant - General Surgery Clinic (Full-time, Monday -Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm, Friday 7:30am-1:30pm)

This position is responsible for assisting the nurse and front office with day-to-day duties. **Essential Job Responsibilities** - Obtain patient vitals and input data into the electronic medical records system - Perform any necessary CLIA-waive tests - Clean room after patient use - Ensure exam rooms are adequately stocked with necessary supplies - Appropriately process soiled instruments - Assist front desk with daily operations, as needed **Qualifications** - **Education:** High School diploma or GED - **Licensure and Certifications:** CPR, required. - **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a previous medical assistant role, preferred. **Work Environment**: This position will spend 80% of time standing and/or walking while pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 50 pounds. This position will spend 20% of time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment.
