Your skills will help guide the care and outcomes of our patients, while your experience and skill as an Medical Assistant will be a crucial part of our care team delivering patient focused care, where each individual is treated as a person rather than a number. Schedule: Monday-Friday 7a-1pm Weekend rotations (as needed) Essential Responsibilities: - Welcome patients and escort to exam room - Prepare patients for radiology procedures and follow established clinical and regulatory procedures in regards to patient safety and care; including proper radiation protection and shielding techniques - Obtain and record vital signs (BP, heart rate, pulse oximetry, height, weight, waist circumference) - Provide information and assistance to patients - Perform blood draws, administer injections/vaccinations, and input medical information into EMR - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations; keep rooms neat, clean and well stocked - Maintain patient confidence and ensure confidentiality of patient care information - Assist the physician and medical staff with procedures and treatments - Complete and document daily equipment checks and calibration Minimum Qualifications: - One year of recent clinical experience, preferably in primary or urgent care setting - BLS for Healthcare Providers Preferred: - Certified Medical Assistant or Equivalent Experience - Certified Phlebotomy Technician Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: - Proficient knowledge of computer systems including electronic medical record (EMR) - Proficiency with blood draws and injections - Ability to effectively communicate with staff and patients using excellent written and verbal skills - Friendly personality and ability to work well as a team member Benefits: - 401k with Company Match My Health Onsite is an equal opportunity employer and a drug free workplace.
