This position performs both clinical and administrative duties to ensure smooth daily operations and an excellent patient experience. * * * ### **Essential Job Functions** - Prepare patients for exams, take histories, and record vital signs. - Assist providers with procedures, injections, and minor surgeries. - Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies. - Collect and process lab specimens and perform basic tests. - Schedule tests and treatments and support chart preparation. - Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and required compliance logs. - Participate in trainings, safety programs, and quality improvement efforts. - Support CHS’s mission and Patient Centered Medical Home standards. - Other duties as assigned. * * * ### **Qualifications** **Education & Certification** - High School Diploma or GED required. - Certified/Registered Medical Assistant preferred. - Bi-annual BLS Certification required. **Experience** - 1–2 years of medical office experience preferred. - Experience with mental health or substance use disorders a plus. - Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred. * * * ### **Physical Demands & Work Environment** - Frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 lbs. - Exposure to typical clinical conditions in a moderate-paced environment.
