This role focuses on accuracy, consistency, and safe patient care. **Primary Duties and Responsibilities** **:** 1. Complete the clinical intake requirements. For example, measures and records patient specific information: height, weight, respiration, pulse, blood pressure, temperature, pulse oximetry (Sp02) and head circumference as appropriate, documenting accurately in the EMR. 2. Administers immunizations under provider direction, including providing Vaccine Information Statements (VIS) updating OSIIS, and documenting accurately in the EMR. 3. Collects patient specimens (e.g., throat and nasal swabs) following established protocols. 4. Follows clinical policies, procedures, and standards to support patient safety, accuracy, and efficient clinic flow. 5. Utilizes the EMR to complete assigned tasks accurately and timely. 6. Uses standard medical terminology and medication references as required for assigned duties. 7. Demonstrates attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation, specimen handling, and task completion. 8. Communicates effectively with patients, providers, and team members using appropriate written, verbal and non-verbal communication. 9. Accepts feedback and incorporates coaching to improve performance and consistency. 10. Manages assigned tasks using basic time-management and prioritization skills. 11. Identifies patient concerns or issues and escalates appropriately. 12. Demonstrates respectful, patient-centered interactions that value patient perspectives. 13. May be required to float within the clinic to maintain business continuity. 14. Psychiatric specialty clinics: 1. Serves as a liaison with rural clinic staff to support clinic-to-clinic visits 2. Assists in trouble shooting pharmacy and EPIC /evist scheduling concerns 3. Ensures all screening tools and paperwork is completed timely 4. Administers long-acting injections 15. Provides leadership and works with all staff to achieve the goals of the “Quintuple Aim” of healthcare reform—to improve the experience of care, improve health outcomes, and decrease healthcare costs. 16. Performs other duties as assigned. **Requirements, Special Skills or Knowledge** **:** 1. High School Diploma or GED. 2. Demonstrated proficiency of core competencies within 90 days of employment, including: 1. Foundational clinical skills 2. Accurate and timely documentation 3. Reliability in assigned workflows 4.
