Document any instance where prescribed medication is not administered, including reason(s) for refusal and notify supervisor and/or Executive Director. - Maintain accurate, complete and confidential resident medication and care records according to established procedure and state law. - Keep medicine carts and areas orderly, clean and appropriately stocked and locked. Maintain upkeep and cleanliness of medicine carts and medication rooms. - Assist care partners in the performance of their job and assume care partner activities when needed or requested. **Qualifications of a Med Tech:** - Prefer experience in a Med Tech role. - Certified Nursing Assistant Required - Prefer one year of experience providing residential care to the elderly or similar experience. - Ability to understand and conceptualize concepts as well as an ability to make decisions in stressful situations. - High level of initiative and self-motivation with an emphasis on establishing and understanding processes with a strong attention to details. - Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with seniors, their family members and staff in a caring, compassionate manner. - Ability to effectively plan, prioritize and manage tasks to completion in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
