The position requires strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of quality inspection methods, and the ability to operate mechanical testing equipment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform inspections of mechanical subassemblies, final assemblies, and other mechanical fixtures to ensure compliance with product specifications and quality standards. - Verify that mechanical components are assembled correctly and that tolerances meet established criteria. - Interpret mechanical drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and technical documentation to ensure compliance with design and production standards. - Record and document inspection results, identifying non-conforming products and initiating corrective action as required. - Utilize, maintain, and calibrate mechanical testing equipment testing equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition. - Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and suggest improvements to processes. - Assist in developing and improving testing procedures and protocols based on findings and feedback. - Understand and follow ISO 9001 standards and ensure compliance in daily work. - Maintain detailed inspection logs and reports for review by supervisors. - Assist in maintaining the safety of the work area by following relevant safety guidelines for handling mechanical components and equipment. - Continuously develop skills related to mechanical testing and inspection techniques, with a focus on pursuing relevant certifications (e.g., ASQ, ASM…
