This position will perform receiving inspection, in-process inspection and final inspection of mechanical parts and assemblies. **Responsibilities:** - Inspect mechanical parts, assemblies and finished products during and after manufacturing to verify compliance with specifications. - Perform inspections at various stages of production, including incoming materials, in-process checks, and final product verification. - Utilize precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to confirm dimensional accuracy. - Review engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to confirm product requirements. - Maintain accurate inspection records to ensure traceability of parts or materials. - Identify defects, deviations, or non-conformities and document findings in inspection reports. - Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and recommend corrective actions. - Perform incoming material inspections to ensure supplier quality. - Support audits and regulatory inspections by providing accurate documentation and demonstrating compliance. - Other duties and tasks as assigned. **Experience/Qualification**: - Detail, process and results oriented - A U.S. Person: Compliant with ITAR, EAR and other laws and regulations as defined: “U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents ("Green Card" holders), persons granted refugee status or asylum status in the United States, or temporary residents granted amnesty.” **Environment and Physical Demands:** - Frequently required to use hands and fingers to hold, feel and touch, and reach with arms. - Prolonged periods of standing and/or sitting. - Close and distance vision required with good hand and eye coordination.
