ESTIMATED PAY RANGE Engineer I: $34.62–$40.38/hour Engineer II: $38.46–$44.23/hour Engineer III: $43.27–$49.04/hour Senior Engineer: $46.63–$53.85/hour Final compensation is based on experience, skills, and alignment with role expectations. Paid overtime may be available. JOB SUMMARY As a Mechanical Design Engineer in Cypress, TX , you will: Drive mechanical design engineering initiatives for Systems Solutions, supporting strategic growth and customer‑focused project outcomes Lead and coordinate medium‑scale mechanical engineering designs within a rapidly expanding business segment Develop innovative mechanical designs and provide expert technical guidance on active engineering projects Serve as a trusted advisor to cross‑functional teams, ensuring on‑time delivery and high‑value engineering solutions Improve clarity, manufacturability, and execution across all mechanical design recommendations Collaborate with the Senior ETO (Engineering‑to‑Order) Design Manager and engineering partners across the organization Oversee creation and release of engineering drawings, analyses, test plans, and technical documentation Select and specify mechanical components required for project construction Create new parts and Bills of Material (BOMs) and upload them into the ERP system Track, support, and report mechanical design changes throughout the full project lifecycle Provide documentation support to application engineering, sales, and estimating teams Partner with manufacturing and production teams to resolve build challenges and improve assembly processes Prepare quote packages and recommend design improvements to enhance manufacturability and reduce cost Apply mechanical engineering standards across design reviews, documentation, and project deliverables Work collaboratively with suppliers and Applied partners Contribute to projects that impact communities in Houston, Katy, Tomball, Spring, The Woodlands, Jersey Village, Hockley, Waller, and Magnolia, and the greater Houston, TX metro Apply your skills in a dynamic environment that values ownership and innovation QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineer…
