This role will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of construction and industrial equipment used across multiple industries, including fireproofing, pool building, and concrete applications. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in mechanical repair, is detail-oriented, and can effectively troubleshoot equipment to ensure maximum performance and reliability. This position requires advanced technical knowledge and the ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision. **Responsibilities:** - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair construction equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal functionality. - Perform routine maintenance and preventative care on equipment, following safety standards and best practices. - Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance schedules. - Assist in equipment setup and calibration for customers, ensuring correct operation. - Provide technical support and training to team members on equipment handling and troubleshooting. - Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a clean and safe work environment. - Provide tools necessary for all required job functions. PDQuipment does supply minimum tools. **Qualifications:** - High school diploma or GED; certification in mechanics, automotive technology, or a related field is preferred. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair, preferably within construction or industrial settings. - Extensive knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems, with the ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics. - Experience operating diagnostic tools and software. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently, manage multiple repair projects, and complete tasks on time. - Physical capability to lift heavy objects and work in a variety of environments. Skills helpful for success: Welding, Torching, Engine Repair, Electrical wiring, computer skills, record keeping. Compensation: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour # About Us PDQuipment serves cities all over the country for equipment needs related to material spraying.
