**Job Summary:** This position reports to the Director of Operations and is primarily an in-person material handling position. The successful candidate will work closely with the Supply Chain team performing material handling, order picking, shipping, receiving, inventory movement, and warehouse support functions. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can safely perform physical tasks with minimal supervision. A Material Handling Specialist supports the day-to-day movement of materials throughout the facility. Primary duties include picking parts for production and customer orders, staging and organizing materials, receiving inbound shipments, preparing outbound shipments, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The position involves occasional forklift operation; however, most work is hands-on material handling. Local deliveries and pickups may be required. **Qualifications, Skills, & Experience** **Education** - Minimum of a high school diploma is required - Associates Degree or higher is preferred **Experience** - Previous in-person warehouse or material handling experience is preferred - Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification is preferred - Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or the ability to obtain one is preferred - Basic understanding of material handling workflows - Verify accuracy of shipments by validating material receipt with packing lists and/or purchase orders - Pick parts and materials accurately for production, customer orders, and shipments - Perform receiving inspection and process items for outbound shipments - Packaging transporting, distributing and the maintenance of material - Receiving, storing, issuing, and delivering of equipment and material - Move inventory to various locations manually and by operation mechanical equipment **Required Skills** - Strong ERP system proficiency - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills - Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships - Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment - Strong problem-solving abilities - Professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills - Ability to communicate in a clear, professional, and effective manner, both verbally and in writing - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion **Physical Requirements** - Prolonged periods walking throughout manufacturing and warehouse areas - Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
