Material Handler

Whether you’re experienced in fabrication, engineering, or customer service, we offer a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth. **About the role:** The Material Handler is responsible for the accurate movement, handling, and staging of materials throughout the warehouse and yard. This role supports warehouse and fabrication operations and maintains inventory integrity by performing all material transactions in accordance with company procedures and the Warehouse Management System (WMS). **Roles/Tasks of the Position:** - Pull, stage, and move materials in accordance with established WMS procedures. - Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently. - Receive inbound materials and complete put-away as directed. - Supply the fabrication team with materials per Bill of Materials (BOM) requirements. - Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits as assigned. - Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in a safe and compliant manner. - Maintain clean, organized, and safe yard and warehouse storage locations. - Report inventory discrepancies, safety concerns, and operational issues to supervision. - Follow all company safety, operational, and quality procedures. - Perform other related duties as assigned. **Required Abilities:** - Team player. - Adequate problem-solving skills. - Strong written and verbal communication. - Time management. - Commitment to safety rules. - Willingness to learn and grow. - Proficient with computer programs (ie. Microsoft 365) **Education/Experience:** - High school diploma or equivalent. - Ability to read and follow picklists, packing slips, purchase orders, and BOMs. - Strong attention to detail. - Team-oriented, reliable, and accountable work style. - Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors, coworkers, and drivers. **Physical Demands:** The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
