Material Handler – Warehouse Operations

The Material Handler is responsible for the material flow to and from the Assembly group for all jobs and shop supplies. Reports to the Shop Foreman. **Responsibilities:** Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Handle all material flow, pull tickets etc. - Verify correct Part Numbers (P/N) vs packing slips, pull tickets, and check parts into the bills of material - Receive material into our business system and our customer portal - Label and organize material on racks - Hand out all Job material to shop personnel. Re-verifying correct P/N and quantity - Handle all material discrepancies (Non-conformances) - Communicate with team members and customers about material issues - Dispose of all material left over from jobs, via in-slip to inventory, return for credit, etc. - Make pick-ups and deliveries as needed. - Assist warehouse with problem-solving and picking as needed - Respond to emails as needed - Keep a clean and organized work area - Expedite orders as required - Other duties as assigned **Requirements:** - Must be proficient with MS Excel, and Word - Must be able to develop a working knowledge of business system - Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously - Ability to work effectively interdepartmentally - Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to travel between local branches - Must be able to drive a fork lift **Benefits:** - Medical/Dental/Vision/Disability effective first of the month after the hire date - PTO accrual begins upon hire - Referral bonuses - 100% employee-owned plus 401k with company match
