Material Coordinator C

**Job Title: Material Coordinator C Location:** Pascagoula, Mississippi **General Function** The Material Coordinator C supports Material Control operations by tracking and coordinating the flow of materials necessary for shipyard projects. This role requires a basic knowledge of shipbuilding terminology to determine material requirements and to maintain documentation for material movement and storage. **Duties and Responsibilities** - Assist Material Control with the tracking and management of all warehouse inventory. - Kit materials based on spreadsheets or generated lists from Central Planning. - Coordinate with warehouse personnel to check material availability or identify back-ordered items. - Arrange for the transportation of available materials to job sites. - Follow up on back-ordered materials to ensure timely availability. - Maintain accurate paperwork for material receipt, storage, and movement. **DESIRED Knowledge, Skills & Abilities** - Strong organizational skills. - Effective verbal and written communication. - Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. - Familiarity with shipyard terminology. - Competency with spreadsheets and inventory management systems. - Basic knowledge and familiarity with the bill of materials shipbuilding and terminology. **REQUIRED Experience & Training** - 1-2 years prior shipbuilding experience is required. - 1-2 years experience working in a warehouse or materials control environment. *Bollinger is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing employment opportunities to minorities, females, veterans and disabled individuals, and without regard to sexual orientation and gender identity.*
