This position ensures all plumbing systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable federal, state, local, healthcare, and accreditation standards. **Master Plumber Qualifications:** - High School diploma or equivalent. - Technical Diploma: Plumbing required. - Current Master Plumbing License required. - This is a safety sensitive position. \* - **Minimum Requirements**: - Minimum of 3-5 years’ of experience in plumbing maintenance - Experience reading construction documents and coordinating projects - Ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced healthcare environment. - Strong communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Ability to troubleshoot complex plumbing and mechanical issues. - **Preferred Requirements**: - Extensive knowledge of commercial plumbing systems. - Knowledge of steam, condensate, domestic water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, natural gas, and pumping systems. - Knowledge of healthcare construction requirements and infection prevention practices. - Proficient with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). - Ability to supervise projects and coordinate contractors - Minimum five years of experience as a licensed Master Plumber in commercial, industrial, or healthcare facilities preferred. - Experience with hospital plumbing systems, steam systems, medical facilities, and large commercial mechanical systems strongly preferred. **Benefits & Perks - your health and happiness matters!
