Massage Therapist

**Overview** We are seeking a skilled **Massage Therapist** to support in the **Austin, TX** region. The ideal candidate will have a passion for promoting health and wellness through therapeutic massage techniques. This is a **1099 position**. **Duties** - Perform various types of massages including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and other specialized techniques - Conduct patient assessments to determine the most suitable massage treatments - Provide exceptional patient service and care during massage sessions - Utilize medical terminology effectively in patient interactions - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes **Requirements** - Must have a valid state massage therapy license - Must be punctual and professional with excellent customer service skills - Proficient knowledge of anatomy and physiology - Ability to conduct physical examinations for massage suitability - Strong skills in acute pain management - Excellent patient assessment capabilities - Prior experience in deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy is preferred **Job Type: Full-time - 1099** **Pay Structure (1099):** - Guaranteed base pay of **$1260 per week** - Base is calculated at **$45/patient visit** for a minimum of **7 patients per day** - **$45 per additional patient visit** for any visits beyond the daily base of 7. **Schedule:** ·4/10 7:30am-8:30am Start time **Work Location:** On the road
