Liquid Personnel is recruiting MASH Team Manager for its client in Sutton to lead and develop its Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for ensuring the effective screening, triage, and decision-making of safeguarding referrals relating to children and young people. Working in partnership with key agencies including Police, Health, Education, and Early Help services, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality safeguarding practices, ensuring timely interventions and positive outcomes for children and families. The successful candidate will provide operational leadership, drive service improvement, and maintain statutory compliance within a fast-paced and rewarding environment. What will your responsibilities be? Lead and manage a team of Social Workers, Senior Practitioners, and support staff within the MASH service. Oversee the screening, assessment, and triage of safeguarding referrals. Ensure effective information sharing and partnership working across multi-agency stakeholders. Provide supervision, coaching, and performance management to team members. Monitor service performance against key safeguarding indicators and statutory requirements. Ensure children and families receive timely and proportionate interventions. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and reflective practice. Manage complex safeguarding decisions and provide expert consultation on high-risk cases. Contribute to service development, audits, quality assurance activities, and inspections. Qualifications & Experience: To be successful in this role you must have, Degree in Social Work (or equivalent recognised qualification). Social Work England registration. Significant post-qualification experience within Children's Social Care. Previous management or leadership experience within a MASH, Assessment, Referral & Assessment, Duty & Assessment, or Front Door service. Strong knowledge of: Children Act 1989 & 2004 Working Together to Safeguard Children Child Protection Procedures Relevant safeguarding legislation and best practice Proven ability to manage complex cases and multi-agency partnerships. Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
