**Marketplace Food & Beverage Attendant / Cook STATEMENT OF THE JOB** Promote the operations of the Bullhead Belle and associated Marketplace events by providing exceptional guest service and supporting daily food and beverage operations. This position is responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving menu items and beverages according to established specifications while ensuring a positive experience for guests. Responsibilities include preparing food orders, mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, operating a point-of-sale (POS) system, maintaining inventory and supplies, assisting with special events, and ensuring compliance with all applicable sanitation, health, food safety, and alcohol service regulations. The employee must maintain a clean, safe, and guest-ready environment while providing friendly and professional customer service to all guests. **Note:** Schedule may consist of early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. **Minimum Age Requirement:** 19 years of age or older. **Compensation:** The hourly rate for this position will vary based on assignment: - **Marketplace Food & Beverage Attendant:** $15.20 per hour - **Marketplace Cook:** $17.50 per hour **EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE / LICENSING & TRAINING** **Education & Experience:** High School Diploma or GED and two (2) years of related professional experience. **License & Training:** - Valid State Driver’s License. - Food handler’s card as provided through Mohave County Public Health, Environmental Health Division, ANSI-accredited food handler certificate/card, or a current food handler card issued by a County within Arizona. - Bartender License or alcohol sell/server permit through Basic: Title 4 Alcohol Certification for Individuals On-Premises Certification as approved by the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control within 30 days of employment. **Continued employment is contingent upon maintaining all required licenses and certificates in active status without suspension or revocation.** **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** - Ensure high-quality food and beverage products are fresh, prepared, and available for guests. - Prepare, cook, and prep food items according to menu specifications and established procedures. - Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to specifications and regulatory requirements. - Interact with guests, take orders, and provide fast and friendly service. - Assess guest needs and preferences and make recommendations based on menu knowledge and available products. - Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other beverages. - Follow proper alcohol service procedures, including verifying identification prior to serving alcoholic beverages and discontinuing service to intoxicated customers. - Ensure compliance with all Mohave County Health Department, Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations related to food safety, storage, handling, temperatures, and alcohol service. - Understand and plan for future production needs based on trends, historical data, seasonality, and guest attendance. - Maintain proper inventory levels by stocking, rotating, and replenishing food, beverage, and restaurant supplies. - Follow inventory management guidelines and make necessary adjustments. - Perform cashier duties including processing transactions, issuing receipts, processing returns, completing deposits, and maintaining accurate sales records. - Follow established cash-handling procedures and assist with required reports. - Maintain communication with the Marketplace General Manager, Marketplace Assistant General Manager, Leads, and coworkers. - Assist with setup and teardown of tables, chairs, audiovisual equipment, decorations, and other event-related activities. - Monitor occupancy levels and enforce Marketplace rules and regulations. - Follow proper opening and closing procedures for the Bullhead Belle. - Maintain a clean, sanitized, and guest-ready…
