As a Marketing Specialist, Webinars on the Demand Generation Team, you’ll work alongside team members to lead the planning and execution of live and pre-recorded webinars, including scheduling, speaker coordination, content development, communications, hosting, and reporting. This is a 14-month contract position. Depending on business needs, there may be an opportunity to extend the contract or transition into a permanent role. Any extension or permanent opportunity would be considered separately closer to the end of the contract term and is not guaranteed. Because our webinars serve a global audience, you may occasionally start your workday as early as 7:00 a.m. Pacific Time, typically once per week, with an earlier finish. A few times per year, you may also work up to two hours outside regular hours to support webinars in additional time zones. ABOUT THE TEAM You’ll be part of the Demand Generation Team and work closely with colleagues across Marketing, Sales, Technical Support, Community, Marketing Communications, and Creative Services to plan, promote, and deliver webinars for our global audience. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING As a Marketing Specialist, Webinars, you will: - Develop the quarterly webinar calendar based on company priorities, marketing themes, industry trends, and audience interests. - Lead the planning and execution of live and pre-recorded webinars, including scheduling, speaker coordination, hosting introductions, and moderating live Q&A. - Create webinar content and materials, including briefs, slide decks, graphics, titles, and descriptions. - Lead planning meetings with presenters to align on objectives, audiences, logistics, deadlines, and deliverables. - Collaborate with Community, Marketing Communications, and Creative Services to promote webinars through newsletters, social media, and paid campaigns. - Prepare Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) reports and insights to support Sales follow-up. - Analyze webinar performance, including conversion rates, and identify opportunities to improve future webinars. - Edit and repurpose webinar recordings and content for future use. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND COMPETENCIES What We’re Looking For: - Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. - Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. - Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make complex information easy to understand. - Confidence hosting virtual events, speaking on camera, and working with presenters and guest speakers. - Ability to collaborate with colleagues, customers, partners, and vendors across teams and time zones. - Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt as priorities change. - Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. - Willingness to learn tools such as Livestorm, Jira, Confluence, Miro, Descript, Final Cut Pro, HubSpot, and Slack. Nice to Have: - Experience hosting, moderating, or producing webinars or virtual events. - Experience with webinar platforms such as Livestorm, Zoom, GoToWebinar, or similar. - Public speaking or presentation experience. - Video or audio editing experience.
