Mission: Deliver the World’s Best Luxury Beauty Buying Experience Job Title: Marketing Intern Company: Cos Bar Retail Location: Corporate – Los Angeles Reports To: Marketing Manager Classification: Non-Exempt Number of Direct Reports:0 **This is an unpaid internship that is eligible for academic credit.** MAIN JOB OBJECTIVE Candidates will be responsible for assisting and supporting the Marketing Department with a variety of social media and marketing initiatives. Social Media focus includes: - Assist with social media engagement by helping manage Cos Bar’s social channels. - Drafting and editing copy for social channels. - Monitoring social media web analytics on a weekly basis (e.g. page views, twitter followers), and provide reports of growth and other activity. - Provide support to social media efforts Marketing/advertising focus includes: - Engaging with marketing teams on a regular basis to brainstorm ideas for new and innovative marketing and social media campaigns. - Assist with gathering data for marketing reports and supporting a variety of marketing and advertising programs. General responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Supervisory Responsibility This position does not have any direct supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment This job operates in a corporate office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The employee may occasionally lift up to 10 pounds Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Travel No travel is expected for this position. Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred Work Experience: Knowledge and experience with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other social media platforms.
