Market Officer, Central

Dalfen Industrial is seeking a Market Officer to join the team. The Market Officer will be based in Dallas, TX and covering the Central region. This individual supports the acquisitions of the highest-priority Dalfen initiatives, and actively contributes to a variety of complex projects, including sourcing, investment and acquisition transactions, strategy development and execution in their regional portfolios. They are responsible for conducting target research and helping the senior leadership team anticipate and successfully respond to investment and acquisition challenges in ways that promote company growth and profitability. **Position Responsibilities** **Acquisitions** • Identify target properties that meet the firm's specified acquisition criteria. • Lead the due diligence process for assets under contract. • Work with analyst to compile underwriting material. • Present property and market specific reports to management and investment committee. **Position Skills & Experience** • Completed undergraduate degree from top-tier accredited institution, a post graduate degree will be considered an asset. • 5+ years of relevant work experience. • Experience leading a team (internal/external) on property operations. • Strong understanding of real estate fundamentals and in-depth knowledge in sourcing and underwriting. • Highly motivated with strong work ethics. • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a demanding work environment. • Excellent communication skills. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to create and edit Argus files. • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. • Proficiency in Argus, Co-star and Real Capital Analytics preferred. • Real estate specific coursework and or work experience preferred.
