Lind Marine reserves the right to modify this range in the future. ## Description **About Us:** Moose Boats, part of Lind Marine, is a premier builder of custom aluminum boats serving law enforcement, fire/rescue, and commercial clients nationwide. Our rigging crew plays a vital role in transforming a welded aluminum hull into a fully finished, mission-ready vessel. From motors and fuel systems to navigation electronics and cabinetry, riggers bring every detail of a Moose Boat to life. **Position Overview:** We are seeking a **Marine Technician** to join our team. This role requires a broad set of mechanical and installation skills and a willingness to learn and develop expertise across multiple rigging functions. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and motivated to uphold Moose Boats’ high standards of quality and craftsmanship. ## Requirements **Responsibilities:** - Safely and precisely use hand tools and shop tools. - Have thorough understanding of all rigging responsibilities (fuel, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, cabinetry, navigation, etc.). - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. - Keep personal and company tools in safe, working order. - Have personal tool box with all basic tools needed for day-to-day operations - Lead team members in completing more advanced tasks. - Provide guidance to entry-level riggers and level 2 riggers on basic tasks. - Carefully read and follow installation manuals before starting work. - Recognize when additional instruction or clarification is needed and ask questions as necessary. - Report unsafe conditions to supervisor immediately. - Perform general labor as required. - Approach all tasks with a positive, can-do attitude. - Take direction and ask for clarification when necessary. - Assist Head Rigger with supervising entry level and level 2 Riggers. - The ability to direct others on a daily basis based on production priorities and each team member's abilities. - Perform Quality Assurance inspection on final product. **Qualifications:** - Basic knowledge of marine systems, rigging, or general mechanical work (required). - Hands-on experience with hand tools and shop tools. - Ability to read and follow technical instructions and manuals. - Willingness to learn and develop skills across multiple disciplines. - Strong attention to detail and safety practices. - Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills. · **Benefits:** · Sick and Vacation · Medical /Dental/Vision/Life · 401K with employer match · 10 Paid Holidays a year
