Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen MIP Packaging Technician to join our team at Illicit Gardens. The ideal candidate will be responsible for packaging and preparing cannabis products in compliance with all relevant regulations and company standards. Key Responsibilities: Operate packaging machinery and equipment to package cannabis products Assemble packaging components and ensure proper labeling of packages Inspect finished packaged products for quality and compliance Maintain a clean, orderly, and efficient workspace Secure palletized load shipments using shrink wrap or protective strapping Complete logs and documentation related to packaging tasks and inventory Install product guides, funnels, stops, and other adjustable parts to aid packaging Collaborate with the kitchen and MIP teams to ensure smooth workflow and compliance with METRC, Counterpoint, and Google Sheets Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; GED accepted Knowledge of cannabis industry regulations and compliance requirements Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to consistently wear appropriate PPE (ie; masks, gloves, Tyvek suits) to prevent cross contamination and uphold cleanliness standards Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package. Employee discounts on Illicit Gardens products. 100% Employee Owned Company (ESOP) 401(K) Physical and Mental Demands: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is consistently required to remain stationary and standing for several hours at a time; they are also required to maneuver throughout the facility, and to work with different tools, machines, and shipments - occasionally being asked to lift up to 25 lbs. The employee will also be required to focus on and observe multiple processes throughout their shift. The employee must be prepared to work in varying temperatures - to include both hot and cold - throughout the facility.
