**Position Summary:** Manufacturing Engineer supports the design, development, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes for our emissions control and clean energy products. This role plays a key part in ensuring operational efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness while supporting our commitment to innovation and environmental sustainability. **Responsibilities:** - Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput - Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to support new product introductions (NPI) - Analyze production data and identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and waste elimination - Design and improve tooling, fixtures, and equipment used in fabrication and assembly - Support troubleshooting of manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions - Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, SOPs, and process flows - Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and quality requirements - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma efforts - Assist in vendor selection, equipment procurement, and facility layout planning as needed - Provide technical guidance and training to production staff **Education:** - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field **Qualifications:** - 3–7 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment (or equivalent combination of education and experience) - Experience with fabrication, welding, or exhaust/emissions-related products preferred - Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, metal fabrication, assembly) - Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) - Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies - Exposure to custom-designed metal fabrication environments - Experience working in high-volume production settings - Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills - Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication and collaboration skills **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience working in oil & gas, power generation, or emissions control industries - Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems - Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) certification or Lean certification **Working Conditions:** - Combination of office and manufacturing floor environment - Occasional lifting, standing, and walking may be required - Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when in production areas **DCL America is an Equal Opportunity Employer.** All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, military/veteran status, genetic characteristics, or any other status protected by federal, state, or local law.
