ESTIMATED PAY RANGE Engineer I: $34.62–$40.38/hour Engineer II: $38.46–$44.23/hour Engineer III: $43.27–$49.04/hour Senior Engineer: $46.63–$53.85/hour Final compensation is based on experience, skills, and alignment with role expectations. Paid overtime may be available. JOB SUMMARY As a Manufacturing Engineer - Continuous Improvement in Faribault, MN , you will: Lead manufacturing engineering initiatives to improve workstation safety, ergonomics, manufacturability, labor efficiency, and gross margin across the Power Test / Loadbanks value stream Identify and prioritize engineering‑addressable hazards, implementing engineered controls to reduce workplace risks Redesign processes, tooling, and workstations to lower labor content and improve assembly consistency Support value‑engineering and cost‑reduction initiatives that enhance manufacturability and gross margin Conduct time studies and ergonomic evaluations to quantify improvement opportunities Develop clear work instructions, SOPs, and visual aids that support safe, repeatable assembly Partner with EHS, Quality, and Production teams to validate safety and process improvements Drive measurable performance gains through structured analysis, implementation, and verification of engineering solutions Work collaboratively with suppliers and Applied partners Contribute to projects that impact communities in Northfield, Owatonna, Dundas, Medford, Lakeville, Farmington, Waseca, and Lonsdale, and the greater southern Twin Cities metro Apply your skills in a dynamic environment that values ownership and innovation QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering required Background in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or industrial engineering Experience improving workstation safety, ergonomics, and hazard mitigation Skilled in process redesign, tooling development, and workstation optimization Ability to identify labor inefficiencies and reduce assembly variation through engineering solutions Experience supporting value engineering and cost‑reduction initiatives Stron…
