Manufacturing Coordinator - AMO (Kansas Road)

# **Job Description** **SUMMARY** This position is responsible for coordinating the after molding operations by leading machine operators and troubleshooting machine issues to ensure the production of quality parts in a safe and efficient manner. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES** - Troubleshoot AMO process problems - Set up lining and assembly machines as scheduled or required by breakdowns - Ensure excellent quality product on assigned machines. - Maintain a safe working environment - Communicate and escalate machine, tooling, and quality concerns - Train and develop machine operators - Promote a team environment on the shop floor - Follow applicable Food Safety and cGMP polices. - Perform other duties as assigned. **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES** This job has no supervisory responsibilities. **REQUIREMENTS** - High School diploma or GED preferred; job related experience would be considered - Organizational skills and interpersonal communication skills (written and oral) - Leadership skills - Effective communication of machine, tooling, safety, quality problems - Willingness to participate in ongoing training programs - Mechanical and machine troubleshooting skills - Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment - Basic computer skills **PHYSICAL DEMANDS** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
