The individual will partner with the Sr. Manager or Director to provide leadership, technical guidance and remove roadblocks. The individual serves as a role model for the team and will need to demonstrate servant leadership to influence Scrum. The individual is also responsible for talent development. ## External Responsibilities - Accountable for the reliability, availability, and scalability of applications; remove blocks that the team cannot resolve or escalate to upper management; Design and develop large scale applications; architect mobile applications to support Offline and Online data sync; Serve as lead developer with front-end, middleware, back-end, cloud and CRM/BPM; Write complex code and review code to provide feedback to team; Lead team of Software Developers; Foster environment with high level engagement and commitment to quality and customer service; Ensure team understands how their product links to Paycor's strategy; Provide advice and input to team on technical difficulties; Provide input on how to make features/functionality better; Stay abreast on development tools, technologies and techniques the team is using; Complete performance evaluations and feedback for team members; Plan training and career development for team members; Recruit, interview and hire new team members. - 0-5% local, regional, or national travel to other Paycor offices. - Serve as lead developer with front-end, middleware, back-end, cloud and CRM/BPM; - Write complex code and review code to provide feedback to team; - Lead team of Software Developers; - Foster environment with high level engagement and commitment to quality and customer service; - Ensure team understands how their product links to Paycor's strategy; - Provide advice and input to team on technical difficulties; - Provide input on how to make features/functionality better; - Stay abreast on development tools, technologies and techniques the team is using; - Complete performance evaluations and feedback for team members; - Plan training and career development for team members; - Recruit, interview and hire new team members. - 0-5% local, regional, or national travel to other Paycor offices. ## External Qualifications - in Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related (foreign equiv. accepted) and 4 years of post degree progressive experience as a Software Developer or related. - Preferred - 4 years of direct experience in full life cycle software development. - 4 years of experience in:C#, SQL, ASP.Net, PowerBuilder, HTML 5.0, CSS, JavaScript or Frameworks;Middleware patterns such as: REST or GraphQLData storage technology such as: Microsoft Entity Framework accessing the data, RelationalDatabases (SQL, Oracle, MySQL, etc.), or NoSQL Technologies (Hadoop, Mongo, etc.). - 1 year experience in:SaaS environment,Leading in an Agile environment; andDatabase design and file management techniques. - 4 years of experience in Experience may be gained concurrently. - 1 year of experience in Pre-employment background check required. ## Live the Paychex Values - Act with uncompromising integrity. - Provide outstanding service and build…
