Manager of 3(16) Department Position Summary The Finway Group, a Strongpoint Partners company, is seeking a Manager of 3(16) Department to lead our growing team and oversee the delivery of exceptional fiduciary administration services. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day team operations, developing and coaching team members, ensuring outstanding client service, and driving operational excellence across the department. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with deep retirement plan knowledge, strong relationship management skills, and a passion for developing people while ensuring clients receive a best-in-class experience. What You'll Do Lead, mentor, and develop a team responsible for delivering 3(16) fiduciary services to retirement plan clients. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement while supporting employee growth and development. Ensure exceptional client service by overseeing client relationships, resolving escalated issues, and maintaining high service standards. Monitor team performance, workload distribution, and key performance metrics to ensure organizational goals are achieved. Partner with internal teams to support fiduciary operations, compliance initiatives, and process improvements. Drive operational efficiency by identifying opportunities to improve workflows, service delivery, and client satisfaction. Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of team members. Build and maintain strong relationships with plan sponsors, advisors, and internal stakeholders. What You'll Bring 3–7 years of experience in retirement plan administration, employee benefits, financial services, or client relationship management. Demonstrated success delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving team accountability and achieving organizational goals. Previous supervisory, team lead, or management experience preferred. Experience working with 401(k) plans, Pooled Employer Plans (PEPs), or other defined contribution retirement plans. Strong knowledge of retirement plan operations and fiduciary services. Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
