Supports the organization's overall business strategy through effective management of human resources. **\*\*This position is 100% on-site at the DENSO Maryville, TN manufacturing facility\*\*** **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Manages the operational and personnel activities of the talent acquisition function of Human Resources and monitors daily work assignments, project plans and development of subordinates. In conjunction with the department’s mission and company vision and direction, oversees and is accountable for meeting the talent acquisition needs of DENSO. - Develops and secures approval of goals, objectives and measures for the talent acquisition function and ensures they comply with overall division and organization strategy. Communicates and is accountable for goal attainment. Develops, along with department senior management, the short and mid-term strategies for DENSO’s talent acquisition needs. Advises executive management on specific matters and general direction related to talent acquisition planning. Provides input to overall human resources operational strategy outside of direct functional areas of responsibility. - Develops, reviews and communicates policies, procedures and processes for the talent acquisition function of the Human Resources department. - Responsible for workforce planning, working with other areas of HR in succession planning, negotiating contracts with vendors, coordination of contract personnel, developing and managing internship programs, coordination of recruiting materials, and implementing process improvements. - Monitors and is responsible for achieving all hiring metrics to ensure progress toward corporate goals and objectives. Has authority over hiring, discipline and separation decisions for assigned personnel and provides input on pay decisions. - Performs other duties as assigned. **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:** - Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational management or related field. - 10+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably in a manufacturing environment - 5+ years of leadership experience - Demonstrates strong capability to use Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** - Experience at an OEM or Tier 1 Supplier. - Demonstrated experience with positive employee r…
