This role provides strategic direction and technical expertise to ensure regulatory compliance, protect employees and the environment, and foster a proactive safety culture that enables innovation and operational excellence. As the site's EHS subject matter expert, the Manager partners with R&D, Facilities, Engineering, and corporate functions to identify and mitigate risks, support business objectives, and ensure compliance with applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations and corporate standards. **This is a 100% on-site role.** **What You’ll Work On** - Lead all site EHS programs, policies, and management systems to ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk management. - Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies, auditors, and corporate EHS teams. - Manage environmental permitting, reporting, inspections, audits, and regulatory submissions. - Develop and execute the site's EHS strategy, objectives, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business goals. - Conduct risk assessments and provide EHS support for laboratory operations, process changes, facility modifications, capital projects, and new equipment installations. - Lead investigations of incidents, near misses, and environmental events; perform root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions. - Develop and deliver EHS training programs that promote employee awareness, regulatory compliance, and a strong culture of safety. - Monitor emerging regulations, industry trends, and best practices, evaluating potential impacts to site operations. - Establish and track EHS performance metrics and communicate results and recommendations to site leadership. -…
