Manager, Engagement Analytics The Role Lantern is building a new Engagement Analytics team focused on measuring and improving how members move through our platform from engagement to completed care. The Manager, Engagement Analytics will lead this mission by owning the team's reporting infrastructure, driving analytical strategy, and partnering with operations and member services leadership to translate data into decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced analytics professional who wants to build and lead a function at the intersection of funnel analytics, healthcare operations, and data-driven decision making in a high-growth environment. Location : Dallas, Texas or New York, New York - Hybrid Schedule (3x in offer per week) What You'll Do Reporting & Data Support Own and evolve the reporting and dashboard infrastructure tracking mid and lower-funnel conversion metrics across member segments, channels, and time periods Lead ad hoc analyses and synthesize findings for Member Services and Operations leadership, shaping how the business interprets performance data Define requirements and lead process mapping for analytical projects and new reporting initiatives, ensuring alignment with stakeholder priorities Establish and oversee data validation, QA standards, and gap identification processes to ensure reporting accuracy at scale Apply AI tools to streamline repetitive reporting tasks, flag data anomalies, and identify opportunities to automate manual steps in recurring workflows Funnel & Conversion Analysis Own the funnel measurement framework — defining methodology, setting standards, and tracking members from identification through case completion Drive conversion performance analysis across cohorts and time periods, translating patterns and anomalies into actionable recommendations for operations Build, own, and continuously improve the MS Gap (Member Services Gap) analysis framework, identifying and prioritizing where members fall out of the navigation process Cross-Functional Collaboration Manage and mentor analysts on the team, setting priorities, reviewing work, and developing analytical talent Serve as the primary analytics partner to Member Services and Operations leadership, aligning analytical priorities to business needs and communicating findings at the executive level Document definitions, logic, and methodology clearly to support a reproducible, auditable analytical practice What We're Looking For Required 5+ years of experience in an analytical role, with at least 1-2 years leading or managing analytical work or a team Advanced SQL skills; able to design and optimize complex queries and data models, and guide others in doing the same Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in every deliverable Strong written and verbal communication — you can translate complex analysis into clear narratives for senior stakeholders and executive audiences Comfort operating in ambiguity and building structure where none exists — you thrive in environments where you're writing the playbook, not following one P…
