Regular travel throughout the sales territory is expected, along with periodic travel to Whistler for onboarding, team meetings, client site visits, and industry events. This is the annualized starting salary range for this position and may vary based on internal equity and the successful candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. As this is a 9–12 month contract, actual earnings will be prorated based on the length of the contract. In addition to base salary and benefits, this position is eligible to participate in Tourism Whistler's sales incentive program. Position Summary Reporting to the Director of Conference Sales, the Conference Sales Manager supports the fulfillment of Tourism Whistler’s goals and objectives through the proactive selling of new group business with prospective clients and the building of relationships with existing clients. The primary responsibility of this role is to generate room nights for the resort while expanding and strengthening Tourism Whistler's client base. Through exceptional communication, relationship-building, initiative, and a passion for the meetings and events industry, the Conference Sales Manager delivers outstanding service and creates memorable experiences for clients and partners.
