Reporting to the Deputy Chief Financial Officer, this position is responsible for: - Coordinating and completing various and complex analytical projects, including the review and analysis of revenues and receivables transactions reported to the statewide accounting system (AFRS), identifying and researching anomalies in financial data reported to AFRS, performs assessments, and consults with B&FS Management Team on varying complex financial issues. This information is used by the Office of Financial Management (OFM) to prepare the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR), which is audited each year by the State Auditor’s Office (SAO). - Works collaboratively with all sections within the Business and Finance Services Division (B&FS) to provide oversight and coordination of internal control testing and review to ensure accuracy of the financial transactions reported to AFRS and Office of the State Treasurer (OST). - Functions as a supervisor providing training and guidance to two Management Analysts 4.
