All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **All the benefits and perks you need for you and your family:** - Benefits from Day One: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance - Paid Time Off from Day One - 403-B Retirement Plan - 4 Weeks 100% Paid Parental Leave - Career Development - Whole Person Well-being Resources - Mental Health Resources and Support - Pet Benefits **Schedule:** Full time **Shift:** Day (United States of America) **Address:** 1055 SAXON BLVD **City:** ORANGE CITY **State:** Florida **Postal Code:** 32763 **Job Description:** • Participates in patient tracking and follow-up processes, assisting with recalls, additional imaging coordination, and biopsy scheduling as required by departmental workflows. • Supports breast center initiatives, such as accreditation preparation, community screening events, or quality improvement activities. • Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to starting exams. • Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems. • Performs high-quality examinations in accordance with provider orders and departmental protocols, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis. • Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks. • Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low. Performs and documents daily system quality control (QC) checks in compliance with departmental policies and regulatory requirements. • Positions patients and operates mammography equipment to obtain optimal images, adjusting technical factors and compression as needed. • Ensures patient identification, safety, and comfort, explaining procedures clearly and addressing questions or concerns with professionalism and compassion. • Follows all MQSA, FDA, and ACR guidelines, including quality control testing, equipment performance checks, and documentation requirements. • Collaborates with radiologists and breast imaging team to ensure accurate imaging and timely communication of results or next steps. • Performs other duties as assigned. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** • Knowledge of Mammography and Diagnostic Radiological Procedures/Positions [Required] • Ability to determine appropriate technical factors [Required] • Knowledge of Mammography equipment and MQSA and ACR regulations [Required] • Ability to learn and master new tasks related to Image Quality and Radiation Safety [Required] • Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of various diverse backgrounds [Required] • Ability to complete Mammography exams in a timely manner even under stressful condition [Required] • Good organizational skills [Preferred] • Knowledge of PACS and associated equipment [Preferred] • Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English [Required] • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required] • Ability to make judgments that must be made on a regular basis regarding exam protocols and imaging techniques, based upon patient condition and provisional diagnosis [Required] • Ability to quickly learn and follow departmental policies and procedures [Required] • Must maintain all required registries and licenses to perform imaging procedures [Required] • Ability to follow Basic Radiation Safety concepts of time, distance, and shielding to keep exposure levels ALARA for patients and staff [Requi…
