Maintenance/ Welder - (Day Shift)

Alter Trading Corporation Company, privately held company with several scrap metal processing facilities throughout the Midwest and Southern region, is searching for a **Maintenance/Welder** on day shift at its Green Bay, WI. This position will be responsible for basic repairs such as performing work on conveyors, changing motor boxes, changing bearings and stick welding **Hours:** Monday through Friday 6:30am - 4:00pm. Saturday possible based on operational needs. **Summary:** · The Maintenance/Welder position operates welding equipment and assists with general maintenance needs. - Welds/repairs trailers, roll-off containers and lugger containers. - Repairs shredder, conveyors and other machinery as needed. - May include fabrication duties. - Assists the maintenance department with preventative maintenance and repairs as needed. - Operates equipment as needed. - Other responsibilities as assigned. **Safety:** Wears all necessary PPE when working in the yard.
