Maintenance Technician - Manufacturing (DAYS)

We're seeking a Maintenance technician to join our team. **1st Shift Schedule:** Days, Monday through Friday **Pay & extras:** Base pay plus extra bi-weekly bonus opportunities. We also have a *generous* PTO plan and *many* other benefits. ## Job Description Maintenance Technicians are responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment located in the lab. Principal duties and responsibilities include: - Performing Preventative Maintenance on all equipment, maintaining PM checklists - Handling work orders to resolve machine issues and minimize production down time - Servicing and maintaining Edgers, Generators and Blockers - Cleaning, changing parts, performing checks, calibrating - Identifying issues and performing repairs - Assisting with installations, fabrications, servicing of other equipment and systems in the lab - Following all safety measures, "Lock out / Tag out" procedures and utilizing PPE if required ## Qualifications - No specific education required - 1 year previous experience in industrial maintenance (electro/mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulics, servo drives, HVAC, etc.) - Experience in manufacturing desired, optical industry knowledge a plus but not required - Must be able to read and write English ## Additional Information National Vision offers a competitive benefits package.
