**JOB DESCRIPTION** **Position:** Multi-craft Technician-Production Equipment **Location:** Anderson, SC **Job Type:** On-site **Reports to:** Facility Manager **Department:** North American Operations **Position Purpose:** Responsible for preventative maintenance, corrective, and emergency repairs of facility equipment. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** - Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec. - Works safely at all times. - Conduct all work activities in an exemplary safe manner. - Maintain the workspace in a safe and orderly fashion, adhering to all 5S standards. - Perform PM tasks according to CMMS work orders. - Accurately log task and equipment info into CMMS system. - Complete corrective work tasks and log into CMMS as corrective work orders. - Responding to emergency Maintenance needs. - Identify and implement PM improvements and Safety improvements. - Participate in training to increase knowledge about customer affected equipment. - Receive, respond to, and implement customer feedback, directives, opportunities for improvement, etc. - Ensure excellent Leadec customer-service level provided to customer. - Responsible for leading efforts in root cause analysis, problem solving, and elimination of recurring issues. Priority will be critical equipment that has the greatest impact on downtime. - Responsible for high-level support as needed for breakdowns and repair of general service production and automated manufacturing equipment. - Provide support as needed for breakdowns and repair of general service production and automated manufacturing equipment. - Assist management with maintaining compliance and prioritization of preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance work orders. - Ability to provide rapid response to breakdowns during scheduled shifts on general production equipment with highly automated and PLC controlled equipment. - Correct any mechanical, electrical, or programming issues associated with the automated systems. - Work from mechanical drawings, electrical schematics and ladder logic displays, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics. Ability to update as built drawings. - Lead root cause analysis efforts to eliminate repeat asset-failure events. - Adhering to and supporting all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectively. - All other duties as assigned by Leadec manager. **Competencies:** - Managing Tasks - Open Communication - Self-Management **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** - Communication Skills - Ability to communicate with all levels of Leadec and customer employees. - Language Ability -- Talking to others to convey information effectively. - Must have the ability to interact well with others. **Position Qualifications:** - High school diploma is preferred. - Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred. - Mechatronics degree preferred. - 1-5 years of related experience. - Skilled in industrial maintenance best practices. - Problem resolution experience. **Physical Requirements:** **The** physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the key actions of the job: - Required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is moderate).
