Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a **Maintenance Technician** to join the Tennalum team in Jackson Tennessee at our aluminum extrusion plant! - Starting pay is dependent on experience and evaluation. - The pay range for the job is $29.48 - $41.79 per hour. - Pay increases are earned through a Pay-For-Skill Point System. - In addition, we offer a monthly bonus based on plant performance metrics and attendance. - Maintenance Techs perform the following tasks, as well as others deemed necessary to support the mission of the plant: - Monitors all equipment to ensure reliability. - Troubleshoots hydraulic and pneumatic systems. - Reads ladder logic and function block logic to troubleshoot equipment issues. - Participates in the preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, 5S, and Equipment Improvement Teams. - Completes work orders in a safe and appropriate manner. - Identifies and reports opportunities for improvement of PM's and Parts Inventory Control. - Applies Lean Manufacturing tools & principles in daily maintenance activities. - Documents spare parts usage. - Minimum of two (2) years of Industrial Maintenance experience. - Ability to troubleshoot industrial electrical circuits and machinery. - Working knowledge of electricity, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is preferred. - Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings and process and instrumentation diagrams. - Must possess a good compliment of maintenance hand tools. - Must have good attendance record and stable work history. - Needs to have a positive attitude with solid verbal and written communication skills. - Must be flexible to work different hours/shifts as required (could be working 12 hour rotating shifts).
