You enjoy interacting with residents, working independently, and being the go-to maintenance technician for your assigned area. * * * ### **A Day in the Life:** - Serve as the primary Maintenance Technician supporting our Assisted Living community - Respond promptly to resident and staff maintenance requests with professionalism and courtesy - Perform general repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, drywall, doors, locks, and building systems - Complete preventive maintenance to ensure equipment and building systems operate safely and efficiently - Assist with apartment turnovers, renovations, fixture replacements, and resident move-ins - Maintain clean, organized work areas and properly care for tools and equipment - Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as needed - Participate in the department's on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies - Support campus projects and assist fellow maintenance team members as needed * * * ### **Qualifications:** - High school diploma or GED required - Valid Kansas driver's license required - Minimum three (3) years of general building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related trade experience preferred - Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, and general building repairs - Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment - Strong customer service and communication skills - Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize work independently while collaborating with the maintenance team * * * At Larksfield Place, every role plays a part in delivering premier service and building a strong community.
