Maintenance Technician I - Tribal Works

Responsible for overall maintenance of structures and grounds of the Osage Nation. Must perform miscellaneous tasks requiring hand labor for the development and maintenance of tribal lands and structures. Responsible for overall maintenance, landscaping, basic carpentry, plumbing repairs to components of Osage Nation Tribal buildings. - High school diploma or GED - Must have 2 years of maintenance and/or construction experience - Mechanical, electrical and plumbing training certifications preferred - Requires a high level of personal integrity and ethics - Requires a high level of problem solving skills - Requires willingness and ability to learn new skills, including travel to conferences and training sessions - Requires good interpersonal communication and team work skills - Must be able to pass a criminal background check - Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing - Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines - Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record – may be required to drive GSA or tribal vehicle - Must be able to receive instruction and carry out assigned tasks.
