You will also work closely with the Director of Maintenance who started with the organization as a Technician. - Feedback – Mandel Group encourages all their employees to participate in small group discussions and surveys to help improve your experience with the company. - Cell Phone Reimbursement - Available to participate in the on-call rotation - 1 week once every 5-12 weeks (frequency dependent on region and staffing levels) - Daily paid on-call stipend - Paid on-call mileage - Company provided uniforms - Rent discount available **Duties of a Maintenance Tech include:** - Perform general maintenance services such as: plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning repairs, carpentry, appliance repairs, glass replacement, etc. - Respond timely to resident maintenance work order requests and notify management upon completion of requests or of pending work order needs. - Be available to work some weekends and night work. - Keep amenity areas in clean and operable condition. Maintain and monitor all safety related equipment and required records. - Participate in preventative maintenance to include pool, exterior lighting, filter changes and apartment inspections. - Perform routine maintenance on vacant units in the most timely and efficient manner prior to new resident occupancy per Mandel standards. - Grounds keeping duties to include trash removal and cleaning. **Requirements for the Maintenance Tech:** - Prior maintenance/facilities experience **Recommended but not required skills /certifications:** - EPA Universal, type 1 or 2, certifications - CPO certification - 1-3 years maintenance/facilities/HVAC experience **Start your career as a part-time Maintenance Technician with Mandel today!** *An Equal Opportunity Employer.*
